Well, my knee wasn’t bothering me too much, so I went for my run today. The walk/run intervals today were:
0/30, 5/0
I am contemplating adding a “faster run” interval as part of my overall run. For example, for 30 seconds out of every five minutes I will push myself to run very fast to stress my breathing and conditioning a bit more, etc. I am not sure when I want to start doing that. Perhaps in the next few days depending on how my knee feels.
Speaking of my knee, it started hurting when I was in my 5 minute cooldown walk. It is very sore now. I bought some Rub-A535 cold/hot patches this past weekend, and am trying one today to see if it helps with the pain at all.
I will get off my ass and do the Pilates ab workout after work even if it kills me.
