A treasure hunter is in hot pursuit of a mythical treasure that has been passed down for centuries, while his employer turned enemy is onto the same path that he’s on.
National Treasure is a fun adventure romp that was largely panned by critics. I wonder if the studio shorted the critics on the swag they are used to getting on the promotional junkets, because I found the movie to be highly entertaining. The story is fairly ludicrous, but once the action gets going the movie turns into quite a race to get to the treasure before the bad guys do.
I would recommend seeing this film.
